Vitality Weight Management, established in 2023 in Seattle, WA, provides medical weight management services under the clinical direction of Nicole Hamlin, MMS, PA-C, MSCP. Hamlin holds board certification as a Physician Assistant, a Certificate of Advanced Education in Obesity Medicine, and certification as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, bringing specialized training in metabolic health and hormonal transitions to her patient population. The clinic operates on a hybrid model, offering both in-person consultations in the Greater Seattle Area and telehealth services for Washington state residents seeking medically supervised weight management.
The clinic's pharmaceutical approach centers on GLP-1 receptor agonist peptides, specifically semaglutide and tirzepatide, prescribed as part of comprehensive weight management protocols. These medications work by regulating appetite, slowing gastric emptying, and improving glycemic control in appropriate candidates. Hamlin's obesity medicine certification informs patient selection criteria, dosing strategies, and monitoring protocols for these peptide therapies. Treatment plans integrate nutritional counseling to address dietary patterns, macronutrient distribution, and eating behaviors that support sustainable weight loss while preserving lean muscle mass. The clinic's approach to chronic disease management addresses conditions commonly associated with excess weight, including metabolic syndrome, prediabetes, and cardiovascular risk factors.
Hamlin's dual certification in obesity medicine and menopause care allows Vitality Weight Management to address the intersection of hormonal changes and weight regulation, particularly relevant for women experiencing perimenopausal and postmenopausal metabolic shifts. Hormone therapy services evaluate thyroid function, sex hormone levels, and other endocrine factors that influence body composition and weight. This integrated perspective recognizes that successful weight management often requires addressing multiple physiological systems rather than focusing solely on caloric restriction. The clinic's protocols include baseline laboratory assessment, body composition analysis, and ongoing monitoring to track metabolic markers alongside weight changes.
Patients at Vitality Weight Management begin with a comprehensive evaluation that includes medical history review, current medication assessment, weight history analysis, and discussion of previous weight management attempts. Initial consultations establish realistic goals based on individual health status, metabolic factors, and lifestyle considerations. The clinic's nutritional counseling component provides specific guidance on meal planning, portion control, and strategies for maintaining muscle mass during weight loss. Follow-up visits, conducted either in-person or via telehealth, monitor medication tolerance, adjust dosing as needed, review laboratory results, and provide ongoing support for behavioral modifications. The hybrid care model allows Seattle-area patients to choose appointment formats based on their schedules and preferences while maintaining continuity of care.
With 18 Google reviews averaging 5.0 stars, patient feedback indicates satisfaction with the clinic's approach to health optimization, the team's knowledge base regarding nutrition and metabolic health, and the confidence patients develop in managing their weight goals. The clinic's 2023 establishment reflects the growing recognition of obesity as a chronic medical condition requiring specialized clinical expertise rather than willpower alone. Vitality Weight Management's focus on evidence-based peptide therapies, combined with Hamlin's obesity medicine and menopause credentials, positions the practice to serve Washington state residents seeking medical supervision for weight management that addresses both pharmaceutical interventions and the hormonal, nutritional, and behavioral factors that determine long-term success.

Physician Assistant
Since 2009, I’ve been practicing primary care and internal medicine, after graduating with my Master’s in Medical Sciences as a Physician Assistant from Midwestern University in Arizona in 2008. Early in my career, I followed traditional weight loss advice—eat less, exercise more—but I saw firsthand how frustrating it was for patients who struggled to see lasting results. This led me to explore a more effective approach. I joined the Obesity Medicine Association and became a certified Obesity Medicine specialist. In 2021, I joined the Providence Swedish Weight Loss and Metabolic Health Group, where I had the privilege of helping people not only lose weight but also improve their overall health and even reverse associated medical conditions. Through this work, I also recognized a significant gap in care for women navigating perimenopause and menopause. Many felt unsupported by their primary care and OB/GYN providers. To better serve these patients, I pursued further training and became certified by the Menopause Society to provide FDA-approved Menopause Hormone Therapy (MHT). In 2023 I decided to open my own practice, with a focus on long term, holistic health. I believe that more frequent visits, combined with a personalized program, leads to better outcomes. I’m passionate about this evolving field and excited to use my knowledge and experience to provide truly personalized care. In this smaller setting, with more one-on-one time and frequent follow-up visits, I can partner with you to achieve your health goals and support you through every stage of your journey.
