How to convert your peptide dose to syringe units

Injectable peptide dosing is measured in mcg (micrograms), but you draw from a syringe measured in units (mL volume). The conversion depends on how much bacteriostatic water you added.

Formula:

Syringe units = (Dose in mcg ÷ Concentration in mcg/mL) × 100

Example: GHK-Cu 1 mg dose, 2 mg vial reconstituted with 2 mL BAC water

  1. Concentration = 2 mg ÷ 2 mL = 1 mg/mL = 1,000 mcg/mL
  2. Dose in mcg = 1 mg × 1,000 = 1,000 mcg
  3. Volume = 1,000 mcg ÷ 1,000 mcg/mL = 1.0 mL = 100 units on a 100-unit syringe

Peptide Dosage FAQs

What is the typical dosage for GHK-Cu?
GHK-Cu is commonly dosed at 1–2 mg per day subcutaneously for systemic effects, or applied topically (0.5–2%) for skin. Injectable protocols typically run 4–6 weeks. Always consult a clinician for personalized dosing.
How do I convert my peptide dose to syringe units?
Use the Peptide Reconstitution Calculator: enter your vial size (mg), the volume of bacteriostatic water added (mL), and your dose (mcg) to get the exact units to draw on your insulin syringe.
What is the typical dosage for BPC-157?
BPC-157 is commonly used at 250–500 mcg per day subcutaneously or intramuscularly. Some protocols use twice-daily dosing. It is typically used in 4–8 week cycles. Consult a qualified clinician for your protocol.
What is the typical dosage for MOTS-c?
MOTS-c is typically dosed at 5–10 mg subcutaneously 1–3 times per week for metabolic health and exercise performance. Protocols often run 4–8 weeks. Consult your provider for appropriate dosing.
What dosage range is used for AOD-9604?
AOD-9604 is commonly dosed at 300 mcg per day subcutaneously, typically in the morning before eating, for 12–16 weeks. Some protocols use 250–500 mcg. Work with a clinician to find the right dose for your goals.
